When this manga first started serializing, I read some of it and didn't find it that interesting. I never expected the anime adaptation to be this fun! You can see the production team's dedication, with the exaggerated expressions and memes pushed to the extreme. Highly recommended!

The Bocchi the Rock! recap film, Bocchi the Rock! Recap Part 1, has achieved both box office success and critical acclaim in Japan, which is quite rare for an anime compilation film.
This success caught the attention of a big shot who hadn't seen the series, so today they treated us to the movie. Thank you, big shot!
After experiencing two Anime Pilgrimages and being bombarded with countless memes, watching this recap film gave me many different feelings.
Seeing familiar Shimokitazawa and Kanazawa Hakkei instantly brought back memories of the pilgrimages, which was truly wonderful. At the same time, the iconic meme scenes were still hilarious. No matter how many times you watch a classic anime, it always feels fresh.
