March 30, 2024, sunny. Today I went to one of the pilgrimage sites for Bocchi the Rock! – Kanazawa-hakkei.
Originally, I only planned to visit the collaboration marine park, Hakkeijima, but before leaving I checked the official website and found that if you check in at four locations around Kanazawa-hakkei and Uminokōen-minamiguchi, you can get an official collaboration postcard!?
The check-in locations are:
[Around Kanazawa-hakkei Station]
● Bakery Fuchsia
● Biwajima Shrine
● Hakkei Florist (Wing Kitchen 1F)
[Yokohama Seaside Line]
● Uminokōen-minamiguchi Station
The locations on the map are as follows:

So the pilgrimage route for this trip was planned as follows:

These four places basically cover all the pilgrimage sites in Kanazawa-hakkei that appear in the anime, and also allow pilgrims to spend money nearby, killing two birds with one stone.
According to the anime's setting, it seems the protagonist Bocchi-chan lives near Kanazawa-hakkei, goes to school in Yokohama, and then goes to Shimokitazawa in Tokyo after school... The commute takes about 2 hours... Seeing this, I have to admire Bocchi-chan's perseverance!
So before heading to Hakkeijima, let's start the pilgrimage in Kanazawa-hakkei.

The first thing I did when I arrived at the station was to find the platform where Bocchi goes to and from school!

Exiting the station, you can see the scene from the first episode where Bocchi looks at the shop window.

The station stairs that appear in the anime.

Not far from the station is the underpass of the Kanazawa Seaside Line, a scene that frequently appears in the anime, especially in episode 6.

A panoramic view.

This road is also the route Bocchi takes from home to the station on normal days.

The location of Hakkei-bashi Bridge as seen in the anime.

The other side taken from Hakkei-bashi Bridge.
According to the anime's setting, Bocchi-chan seems to live around here, but the actual address appears to be fictional, so in the end I couldn't find a similar place.

The classic stone bollard that appears in episode 6.

The torii gate of Biwajima Shrine. Because of the event, it was especially lively today.

The spot where the small, helpless Bocchi sat.
For some reason, the steps and door were removed, so little Bocchi lost her seat 😭.

Further inside is a shrine hall.

The view from the shrine hall is also very beautiful!

There is also a stone monument, which I couldn't read at all 😅.

Across from Biwajima Shrine is Seto Shrine, another location that appears in the anime.
When crossing the pedestrian bridge to the other side, I thought the view was nice and took a picture.

Raiko Shrine as it appears in the anime.

Take the Kanazawa Seaside Line, which runs along the coast, from Kanazawa-hakkei Station to the next destination, Uminokōen-minamiguchi.

Arriving at the destination, you can see the main destination of the next article – Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise.
This is also the same marine park where fireworks were set off in episode 6 of the anime.

A panoramic view.
Thanks to the unusually high temperature that day, there were a huge number of people visiting.
That's all for this pilgrimage. After a short rest, I set off for the next destination, which you can see in the previous photos – Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise!
