August 10, 2024, sunny weather. Today I went to Sangenjaya to try the Unicorn Overlord collaboration cafe!

The exterior was already filled with collaboration-related content.
To match this collaboration, they even added a new game character logo.

Every corner of the store was decorated with flags and patterns from Unicorn Overlord.

Each table had original art of in-game restaurants, perhaps to make diners feel as if they were in a game restaurant?
The art on my table seemed to be from the Elheim restaurant.
Speaking of which, when I made the reservation, the staff specifically asked about my favorite character. I wrote Eltolinde, the elf priestess, so my tablecloth and art were elf-themed? So thoughtful!

The collaboration menu was divided into two parts: one part featured dishes that appeared in the game, and the other part were drinks designed with elements from each country in the game.
The main dishes corresponded to three dishes from the original game:

[Juicy Aged Steak]

[Tender Herb Roasted Chicken]

[Mellow Cheese Hamburg Steak]

I ordered the Cornia drink from the protagonist's group, priced at 968 yen (about 47 RMB).
It was described as blue lychee flavor, but it only tasted sweet.
The photo didn't come out well; there was a Bugles chip at the back. Could this symbolize Cornia's unicorn!?

I ordered the Mellow Cheese Hamburg Steak as my main dish, priced at 3,289 yen (about 161 RMB).
Except for swapping the bread for rice because I wanted rice (don't ask why, in Japan, meat patties with rice are really delicious!), the overall composition was somewhat different from the game.

A close-up.
To be honest, this generous hamburg steak was well worth the price!

Cutting into the hamburg steak, thick cheese flowed out.
At least the hamburg steak itself was highly faithful to the original.
Taking a bite, the firm meatiness of the hamburg steak paired with the sweet cheese—I think this was the best collaboration cafe meal I've ever had!
A wise person once said that one criterion for judging whether Japanese cuisine is good is whether it's sweet.
Previous collaboration cafes were almost always overly sweet, but this time was different. I truly felt the satisfaction of being filled with delicious food.

Elf kingdom tablecloth.

The coaster I got.
Great, I got the elf priestess!

I also bought a board of the elf twins, 1,320 yen (about 65 RMB) each.
