Time flies; in the blink of an eye, we've entered 2023.
In Japan, everyone goes to shrines for Hatsumode during the New Year period, so I thought about visiting a unique shrine this year.
After some searching, I found a shrine near Tokyo that has a collaboration with Teasing Master Takagi-san — Takagi Shrine. So, I paid a visit during the New Year holiday.
Takagi Shrine is located in Sumida City, Tokyo, near KeiseiHikifune Station.
If you're coming to Takagi Shrine, I recommend taking the train to Keisei-Hikifune Station, rather than the neighboring Hikifune Station. I'll mention the reason below.
At the aforementioned KeiseiHikifune Station, there's also a collaboration with Teasing Master Takagi-san. At the station's West Exit, there is a 1:1 scale recreation of a scene featuring Takagi-san.
The destination, Takagi Shrine, is about 700m away from the station.

One of the original features of Takagi Shrine is its rice ball-shaped decorations.
I feel like I've often seen that row of rice balls online before; now I finally know where they come from.
As expected, the Ema area is full of Teasing Master Takagi-san!

Life-size Takagi-san standee.
Nearby, there's also a Teasing Master Takagi-san collaboration fortune slip. You can draw one for just 100 yen.
The result was a Moderate Blessing.
I recall many bloggers drawing Bad Luck or Great Bad Luck here, so it seems my luck will be quite good this year (laughs).
Finally, after finishing Hatsumode, I bought a Teasing Master Takagi-san collaboration omamori for 1,000 yen.
