January 17, 2026, sunny. Today I went to Tokyo Skytree for the Puella Magi Madoka Magica collaboration.
Come to think of it, this is my first time visiting Skytree in all my years in Tokyo.
Since Puella Magi Madoka Magica is collaborating with Skytree, I took this opportunity to check it out.
Though my reason for visiting Skytree is completely different from most people's 😅.

I was drawn to the decorations outside even before entering the tower.

There weren't many related elements on the deck.
But the display was still impressive.

Taking a look at the distant Tokyo skyline.

It was a hazy day, and I saw a Silent Hill-like view of Tokyo 😅.

A bit abstract, haha.
The elevator to the Sky Corridor was a pleasant surprise.
Both fans and non-fans would probably be amazed.
Even the display showing the current altitude features Kyubey.

As soon as you exit the elevator, you see a large decorative sign.

The entire long corridor walls are covered with introductions related to Madoka Magica.

Decoration at the end of the corridor.

At this point, you can see the shadow of Skytree.

Another decorative wall.

A pretty interesting little device.
When you cover it with your hand, lines from Madoka Magica appear.
With the surrounding lighting effects, it should have been beautiful, but since it was afternoon, the lighting effects were barely visible.
I think based on the event design, choosing dusk might be a good idea.

Some decorations.

The merchandise this time looks really pretty! All shiny.

The collaboration lighting posted earlier on Twitter.
This is the official answer.

I ended up drawing two keychains.
I got Kyoko and Kyubey, which is quite ironic.
