On November 9, 2025, with light rain, I went to Shinjuku to attend the offline player event for MapleStory Online's Japanese server — Super Maple Party 2025.
After almost two years, the Japanese server of MapleStory held another large-scale offline player gathering.
To be honest, because ofthat incident, I haven't played this game for a long time.
But when I saw on Twitter that another offline event was being held, which would include a symphony concert, I couldn't resist buying a ticket.
I also downloaded the game again and logged in.
That's the story. Since I bought the ticket, I might as well enjoy the offline gathering happily!

After entering the venue, the first thing I saw was the torii gate of the Mushroom Shrine, a Japanese server feature.

This area introduced the timeline of the Japanese server's MapleStory from its launch to the present.

Displayed bosses that I will probably never defeat in my life.
But come to think of it, Kalin is so cute, why would you want to fight her!?

The hidden content was the new class to be released in the upcoming winter update — Lynn.
The Japanese server also produced an MV for it.

They also specially invited a cosplayer to promote the new class.

There was a lot of merchandise for sale this time.
But most of it was in the form of blind boxes, which is very typical of the Japanese server.
The Korean server doesn't do this...
You can imagine, I only wanted a Lara standee, but there were 53 types of standees, so the probability of getting it was predictable.
In the end, I tried a ten-pull. As for what I got, it will be revealed in the loot section below.

The main performance today was the symphony concert.
I never thought I could relive the emotions from back then.

Collect 6 stamps and play 3 mini-games to get one lottery draw.
The grand prize was Lynn-related merchandise.
As for what I drew, it will be revealed in the loot section.

Although I only took one photo, there were actually three mini-games.
The first was the iconic "Strike the EXP" from the game. Here, as long as you ensure the top totem doesn't fall, you can knock off any block and succeed.
The second was a classic Japanese shooting mini-game. You succeed if you defeat the largest tengu or three small monsters.
The third was pulling a sword. There were five swords, and you had three chances to pull the real one. I got it on my first try... my luck was used in strange places.
Of course, even if you didn't succeed, you could still get the final reward.
The symphony concert was a shortened version of the previous one.
Some pieces were cut, but at the end, they played a symphonic version of Lynn's theme song!
Moreover, this time photography and recording were not restricted, so I quickly recorded the special theme song!

You could pretend to be a character from the game selection screen and take photos here.

You could buy some snacks.
I bought Pringles and a Mushroom macaron for 750 yen each.
They were very sweet and creamy, absolutely delicious!

NPCs would randomly appear at the venue.
Can you guess which classic in-game NPCs they are?
If you play rock-paper-scissors with the NPCs, you can get limited cards and snacks.
Each NPC had its own characteristics. Some would tell you "I only throw rock," others would say "You're going to throw rock next." It was very fun.

When leaving, I noticed that the only card left at the entrance for filling in information was the one for the Japanese server's Reboot server — Hinoki.
It seems there really weren't many players from the Reboot server this time.

Before leaving, I took one last look at the venue.
Today was an unforgettable day. I will go play the new class!
It's time for the much-anticipated loot section!

First, let me reveal the results of the ten-pull.
Don't ask how desperate I was when I opened the boxes.
No trace of Lara at all 😭! Why did I get two Dark Knights!?

The stamp reward was four charm-style pendants.
I originally wanted to draw them together with the standees, but unfortunately, they sold out just before my turn.
However, I ended up drawing four more during the lottery, which was a pleasant surprise.
Still didn't get Lara 😭!

Since I pre-ordered the ticket, I received some limited gifts.

Also, a fellow player won the grand prize — a Lynn figurine. He generously traded it for my macaron. I'm really grateful to him!

The soft participation badge is so cute!
As an online game, giving away some virtual items is only reasonable, right?

The event-limited chair is very beautiful.
It also came with 1,000 NX. Since the Japanese server is having a collaboration with Frieren, I used it for a five-pull, but the result...

It's really hard to judge.
This is why I hate the gacha mechanics of the Japanese server.
Not only is there no pity system, but the consumables given are essentially throwing money away.
After all, it was 1,000 yen, and they gave a bunch of worthless consumables that you can't even use in the game...
