June 6, 2026, sunny. Today I went to the 2nd Yamanashi Outdoor Festival "Yuru Fes△" held in Kofu.

Lanterns (Daytime Version)

Since work has been so busy lately, I really couldn't get up early, so I opted to head to Kofu around noon.

I arrived in Kofu at about 3 p.m.

But for this event, that was probably the liveliest time!

The biggest highlight of the event was the lanterns!

One side featured characters from "Laid-Back Camp," and the other side had the names of the author, production staff, and sponsors.

When will WIKIMOE get to hang a lantern up there too!

In the Historical Park area, a Suzuki itasha was on display.

But it seems this itasha was just for display; I couldn't find the same itasha on the official website!

Collaboration Drinks

It was a bit hot, so first, let's grab two collaboration drinks: Nadeshiko and Rin!

Big Star Rin-chan Appears!

So many people! It was hard to capture Rin-chan on camera.

As expected of big star Rin-chan! So cute!

Food Time

The food was so delicious that I forgot to take photos after eating. Skipping...

Cast Talk Show and Lantern Lighting Ceremony

The voice actors invited for Day 1 were

Yumiri Hanamori: role of Nadeshiko Kagamihara

Nao Toyama: role of Rin Shima

The talk roughly started from when they last came to Kofu and the activities they participated in today.

I still can't get that song out of my head — Maki! Maki! Maki! ♪

The segment where the mascot Rin, Nao Toyama, and Yumiri Hanamori each claimed to be the real Rin was also hilarious.

It reminded me of an old meme.

Since photography and recording were strictly prohibited during this segment, it's something you can only experience in person.

After that was the lantern lighting ceremony.

The lanterns from earlier were lit up together, signaling the event's second half!

With the final campfire talk show segment ending, the event was pretty much over.

Actually, the event had a lot of content, so much that I forgot to take photos as mementos.

I hope I can attend again next time!

This event gave out a ton of postcards.

A postcard lover's dream come true!

But for some reason, I drew the same character three times in a row from the photo frame bonus 😇.

It just so happens that this matches my previous three-in-a-row draw of Kokoro.

Winter 2018
This is a story of a certain winter. Nadeshiko, a high school girl who moved from Shizuoka to Yamanashi, rode her bicycle to Lake Motosu to see "Mount Fuji, which appears on the thousand-yen bill," but unfortunately it was cloudy. Unable to see Mount Fuji, exhausted Nadeshiko fell asleep on the spot. When she woke up, it was already late at night. In this unfamiliar place, she didn't even know the way back. The one who saved the anxious and scared Nadeshiko was a girl named Rin, who loves camping. The two lit a campfire to warm their cold bodies. The crackling sound of firewood permeated the silence of the lakeside. Sitting around the campfire, sipping curry noodles and chatting, Nadeshiko and Rin finally awaited the moment they had been longing for. "I see it... Mount Fuji..." An outdoor girls' story that begins with the encounter between Nadeshiko and Rin.

On the other hand, Nadeshiko, who understands Rin's feelings, has a new idea. She enjoys camping with everyone. Cooking and eating together is fun. But "I also want to try solo camping like Rin." Spring 2024
Laid-Back Camp Season 3 is a story set against the backdrop of the transition from winter to spring. After enjoying a group camp in Izu, the five girls—Nadeshiko, Rin, Chiaki, Aoi, and Ena—continue to have high camping enthusiasm, enjoying various outdoor activities in Yamanashi and Shizuoka. Rin and Nadeshiko's childhood friend Ayano Toki go on a touring camp around the Oi River. Nadeshiko travels alone by train to meet up with Rin and the others. Chiaki, Aoi, and Ena spontaneously head to northern Yamanashi for a bus camping trip. The five of them each apply the camping experience they've learned in different places, relying on improvisation and spirit to overcome difficulties and fully enjoy the fun of camping! This is a story that is "interesting and always updating," a new chapter of the outdoor girls' story woven by Nadeshiko and the others. The character designs have changed, and it's a bit hard to get used to—everyone looks like they have the same face. But the story still maintains the usual quality.
