On July 25, 2026, I took the Seibu Limited Express from Ikebukuro in Tokyo to Chichibu, then boarded the "Botan Kamiina Fully Blossoms When Drunk" collaboration special steam train from Ohanabatake Station to Nagatoro Station for a summer anime pilgrimage. This trip covered the collaboration decorations at Seibu-Chichibu Station, the Matsuri no Yu hot spring, limited merchandise and collaboration menu, sake tasting in Chichibu, and a pilgrimage to filming locations around Nagatoro Station. It also made up for my previous regret of not riding the Chichibu steam train. This article documents the "Botan Kamiina" Chichibu collaboration event, the Nagatoro pilgrimage, and my first steam train ride through numerous photos and videos.

On May 3, 2024, a sunny day, after finishing the Chichibu anime pilgrimage, I set off for Nagatoro, the sacred site of the film "WATATEN!: an Angel Flew Down to Me – Precious Friends".
